Found crotchet table cloth stretched to a cedar frame. The bottom of the cloth was dipped in a solution of fabric dye and Miracle Grow. Over the course of 3 weeks the solution would diffuse into the cloth and begin to separate out the dyes from green color to yellow color. The bottom was then painted with a concrete colored paint.

Three macrame plant hangers constructed out of lamp wire, mdf, paper shredder, and 500ft roll of green paper. Over the course of time (time is variable) the paper shredder shreds a portion of the paper and falls to the floor. Over the course of the exhibition the paper fills the floor of the gallery/space.

Interactive sculpture utilizing two way mirrors to create infinity spaces of urban landscapes. Placing blocks upon each other and at certain points on the tables reveals the interior landscapes.
 

Topiary hedge outfitted with an underground mechanical system and proximity sensor. Walking near the hedge causes it to move in a rhythmic breathing/chewing motion for approximately 10 seconds

Temporary installation Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan Maine

Commissioned by Lauren Rottet, of Rottet Studio, for the James Royal Palm Miami Beach. The interactive walnut table is 16ft x 3ft and features an inlayed street map of Miami Beach using Makoré, Maple, and Walnut. Beneath the inlay are hidden magnets which act as power switches to 1 of the 20 wood and mirror 'infinity boxes'. Users can either find the hidden spots on the table or stack the cubes to illuminate and revel the miniature bridge sculptures inside. Through the use of 2-way mirrors, each boxed bridge appears to go on forever. 
The mirrors create an effect that is difficult to capture in photographs. For a better idea, please watch the videos below.

Installation that consisted of an indoor as well as outdoor component to the piece. The wooden panels in the indoor component connect to small monofilament lines that run through the gallery to outdoor sails. These would catch the wind and cause the piece in the gallery to move as if it was blowing in the breeze.

Tension piece containing 32 separate elements held together solely with tension. Abstracted from a mammilian spinal column, this self corrects itself when pushed over resisting falling over. 

Series of 3 Parking Meters installed on Washington Avenue in Houston Texas. Design is fabricated out of powder coated steel that is digitally fabricated using laser and water-jet. Inside the shell is a mirror vinyl coating that gives the piece greater depth. Light element illuminates the surrounding buildings and structures.

Permanently installed on Washington Avenue in Houston Texas 

A 40 ft sculptural interactive tower designed to simultaneously converge the voices of up to 15 individuals into one unified transmission through the use of tin-can phones, each suspended in the 15 pods surrounding the tower. The crude analog phone transmission was recorded digitally at the towers soundboard apex in real-time and output into a womb-like listening chamber at the towers base.

Recycle truck vehicle wrap for the City of Houstons Waste Management Division. Printed vinyl wrap covers the entirety of the truck in a wood grain pattern referencing wooden toy trucks from childhood.
